A 9-year-old boy managed to create a shelter for homeless dogs.

Stray dogs and cats are a problem in many parts of the world. Governments can’t always solve it on their own, but with the help of kind-hearted people, many stray dogs manage to find a home. Interestingly, even children who sincerely strive to make the world a little kinder can be among those kind people.

One such child is a 9-year-old boy named Ken, who lives in the Philippines. Ken has a dog named Chulo, and he takes great care of him. One day, while walking with Chulo, Ken noticed three stray puppies that didn’t look very well—they were dirty and slightly mangy. The boy decided to feed them, and over time, it became a habit.

One day, Ken’s father noticed his son taking a lot of food from the table. Curious, he followed Ken and saw him feeding the puppies.

Ken’s father wasn’t against this initiative at all, but he explained to his son that he could only create a proper shelter for dogs when he became independent.

However, things turned out differently. Photos of the stray puppies and Ken’s story about his dream spread across the internet, and suddenly, people from various places started donating to him. With this money, Ken was able to take the puppies to the vet and buy them food and medicine.

His father allowed him to house the dogs in the garage, and Ken turned it into a full-fledged shelter, naming it the **Happy Animals Club**. He lovingly set up beds for his new pets and took care of cleaning them himself.

The puppies, whom he named Black, Brownie, and Belyash, quickly recovered and, within three months, turned into beautiful, well-groomed dogs.

Ken easily found new owners for them, thanking everyone who helped him organize his mini-shelter.

This act of kindness saved three Filipino dogs and showed the world that even a child can become an animal rights advocate with a little help from adults.
